SME policy panel inquires into pressure points
The SME policy panel is a panel of SME entrepreneurs from private businesses. The panel started addressing some pressing issues by the end of 1988.
Almost 2,000 companies were involved in a recent survey. Businessmen were asked if they had to deal with any pressure points at the location or the surroundings of their company. They could indicate whether they were concerned about possible crime taking place round the company, about the accessibility of the company and about the parking facilities. The results are rendered in the diagram below.

The figures show that crime round your company is by far the most pressing issue in the company surroundings. This is especially true for companies located on the periphery of the centre or outside the built-up area. Every day our employees are solving crime problems at small and medium-sized companies, and they also give advice on the prevention of crime. You can also use our knowledge and experience by contacting us to make a noncommittal appointment with one of our security consultants.
