Walters is the author of the best seller Principles of Kinesic Interview and Interrogation and a subject matter expert on interview and interrogation. Stan is an instructor for governmental institutions and intelligence services, such as the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation and National Security Agency. Also he was the technical advisor and host for National Geographic - Science of Interrogation that.
Conducting interviews and interrogations is still the most important instrument to gain information from witnesses and uncover the truth from suspects in a (crime) investigation. How to assess the credibility of a witness or suspect’s statement? And is it possible to increase the evidential value of a statement? To answer these and other questions Hoffmann organizes the Advanced Interrogation and Lie Detection Sessions.
The participants of the Sessions will learn how to use behavioral analysis tools to identify significant signs of stress, deception and false confessions. In addition, in this three-day course participants will learn to employ a unique tactical interrogation phase that will help to ensure a successful interrogation.
The main difference with other courses is that the Hoffmann Sessions are given by experts with a worldwide reputation and that the number of participants is limited to twenty-five at most.
Beside the intensive study program there will be time for relaxation and knowledge exchange during the three days.
